Accident

I was driving the car. Near the second gate of the hospital  I turned and pressed the brake. A lady probably was coming from behind and couldnot see me stopping and stumbled on to the car and got hurt. I was not at fault. But I was a little nervous. However nothing happened after that. but it was a day full of tension

END OF A DREAM

For more than a month I was day dreaming about my MES prospects. Everyday  I used to telephone someone about possible results. Everyone said that they will recommend my name. I thought  I would get a chance for sure. I even planned my activity after chance in MES. Today results came out and I could not find my name anywhere in the list. I tried whatever I could but I could not make it.

Review of Last year

On quickly reviewing last year I have found the following---

1)  We celebrated picnic and holi.

2) We observed ouster of Nasim from our Dept.

3) I appeared in MES exam----- results awaited.

4) I purchased a land.

5) A little parrot came to our house, mesmerized us with divine love and accidentally died.

6) I gathered 5 parrots to fill the vacuum of the parrot'. One fled away, one died, three remained.

6) We visited mayapur and got totally bored.

7) Near the year-end I started dieting.

8) I had more than 1 lakh monthly income regularly. I shall finish the year at about 43.

9) Trivia---- marriage of Rumki (berhampore) and  Akhi(mehegram)  were attended.

10)  Rik’s school results are not satisfactory. Rik has been admitted in St Paul school

11) We visited Digha, Mandarmoni.

Last day at digha 25 /12/ 2009

We went to beach at about 9 AM.And we played a little bit in the water and we didnot take bath in water. I thought old Digha was better than new Digha.. 

Our experience with the hotel is very grim. Its food is below average. Room service is erratic. I thought our Digha experience has been made a little worse by this hotel. I donot like to come back to this hotel again. This hotel is absolute rubbish.

Digha day2

 24/12/2009. We set off early today for shankarpur. It has marvellous virgin beach with good waves. I think it is even better place to stay than mandermani. Hotels are developing , so in five years time from now it is going to be a star attraction.

then we headed towards chandaneswar temple, Orissa. A Shiva temple. God is said to be “jagrata” here. I prayed for my MES. PANDAS are a unbearable nuisance here. then we went to talshari 3km away from chandaneswar temple. Rupnarayan river has met the sea here. Absolute boring place. There is nothing to see except a few red crabs. In order to see it one has to walk 2 km on beach.

On way back we went to science park a mini edition of science city. THERE are a lot of things to see. Rik was amused.where is the body?

Digha day 1

We left mandermani at about 10 AM reached digha at about 11 am. We have booking at Palm RESORT. Hotel looked good from out side. It has fountains, swimming pool,water lakes with fishes. AND there is carpet in the room. Negative side is that it has an extra bed in the room instead of Sofa,Lighting of room is poor. Bathroom is such that you donot want to go bath room. TV is at the head end along with telephone. I donot know how to watch the Tele . There is no room service. why? Food quality is pretty average and it lacks the variety.

We went to old Digha beach at about 4 pm. It is overcrowded. Sea beach is covered with concrete and rocks to prevent erosion by the sea. Unlike Mandarmoni it has big waves breaking on the beach. there are lot of small vendors  selling so many things. Will the Rocks prevent erosion of beach.
