Rik was down with fever for about 6 days. Initially i thought it was viral fever, so put him on PCM alone. But fever continued for 4th day, so I put him on cefixime plus ofloxacin. Blood test for malaria, dengue was negative. Platelet was normal. He was feeling very wk. I was very worried when fever came on 6th morning. I consulted Anando mondal. He also advised treatment on the same line. Fever decreased on the evening to my relief.
