MES

Finally i am going to appear in MES exam on 11th DEc. Dr M Mukherjee is the examiner.  I have two papers that should help the cause.

I have done whatever I can, Now it is up to GOD. How I wish to get a birth in MES.

Thyroid operation

Today I performed a huge thyroid lobectomy along with Dr Tarun Patra. Rec Laryngeal Nv was correctly displayed. Post operatively patient didnot develop any hoarseness. This was the preop picture. Euthyroid  left lobe goiter.

MAYA PUR

IT WAS A RATHER UNPLANNED HURRICANE TOUR TO MAYAPUR. I visited mauapur in 1986-87 when I was a student of class of eleven. I cannot remember much about that picnic.

But this time it was not a pleasant experience. We started at 5 am in the morning. We reached there at 9 am. There are larger than life temple of Lord Krishna and Radha With astha Sakhi, The temple of Lord chaitanya and Pravupad were awe inspiring. But after this there was nothing.The lunch Prasadam was cost effective but not memorable. T he devotion of foreigner and their Shastanga pranam was was noticable.Much hyped Gosala is certainly not a must-see.

At many places one has to remove shoes. Shoes are kept free of charge. over emphasised.

Long gap

Long gap doesnot mean I had no story. I was struggling in the Dept of surgery because of overload . Since Nasim left The Dept. I have to attend on call for 56 hours apart from my OT OPD and Daily Rounds. MES exam  advertisement is finally out and there are only 4 seats. I have decided to to appear in the exam come what may.

Finally Superintendent agreed to relieve us from night duty. The battle against Nasim is still on. Nasim has not been able to get a birth in the Dept.

Rinku was having bleeding pv and white discharge’ She went to berhampore to get examined by a doctor. Rik and I are alone in house.
