Puja is not the same anymore as they used to be when parents were alive. We came to Kaitha, but we didnot enjoy it anymore. Utpal is sick. Idonot know what to do. Next year we may not come to Kaitha, but enjoy Puja differently.

I have a feeling that the next gen is not going to look after us. I could see the writings on the wall. Icalled him and he deliberately neglected it. This is something not desirable.

So this is my 56th birthday. Inching closer to in evitable.

Rik passed MBBS

At about midnight, Rik wax excited to tell us that He passed MBBS. It is a great news. So another doctor from our family. My parents would have been very happy. But they are not more.

gangtok last day

Yesterday we changed hotel. It was raining, so we decided to stay indoors. Today we went to Ravangla. It was about 3 hrs journey.  Ravangla means place for rearing sheeps. We went to Chardham first. Shiv temple was there. We clicked as many photos as possible. There is a big statue of Shivji and lot shiva temple. Then we went to Buddha park. There was a huge statue of Budhadev. It was raining so we couldn't see kanchanjangha. There were more 100 stairs. Imanaged to climb that all. Then we came back to hotefor that painful preparation of returning to Rampurhat.

We visited the following places today....

1.Enchay monastery
2. Ganeshtok
3. Organic view point
4. Botanical Garden.
5 tashi view point.
6. Gonjang monastery
7. Rope way
8. Ban Jhakri Water falls

Monastery has their calmness. But I was bit surprised to see that they have entry fee. Ganeshtok didnot have any entry fee. The view points are as usual offering majestic view of the hills.

Rope way was quite frightening, but we gathered courage to go for the ride. We sort of enjoyed it.we enjoyed one waterfall at the botanical garden. But star of today's show was BanJhakri water falls. It was awesome.

gangtok day 2

We went to Nathula. Briliant landscape. China border. minus temperature. Chilling and freezing wind. Oxygen concentration is less. I was really feeling uncomfortable while moving up the stairs. My heart was pounding and I really felt uneasy. Is it my age or heart disease.. i donot know. Anyway i survived lt. Lot of selfies and photo session was there.

 Then we went to baba mandir. Tendered pranam. We bought four laddo as prosad for 100 rupees. Everyone cheats the tourists. They were also selling water and chappalnin the name God that they will cure disease.

Then it started raining. We rushed back to the car. We went to chhangu lake. Iwas just a lake at hill top and nothing more. Then we left for Gangtok. Tomorrow is sight seeing.
